  Altar Servers are invaluable members of the Parish community who contribute a great deal to Parish life.
  
  All children of Saint Leo the Great Parish (Saint Leo the Great School and Faith Formation Program) from Fourth Grade on, are invited to be Altar Servers.
  
  This is a great opportunity for our young people to actively participate in their Catholic Faith

  New Altar Server Training Sessions - MANDATORY Meetings will be held in the Church
  You MUST attend Session One AND Session Two Meetings (one meeting on each date)

  Altar Serving is an important Ministry of the Church in which children can become more actively engaged in the Mass. By volunteering to be an Altar Server your child is taking a more active role in his or her faith.
  
  This commitment is a responsibility that he or she will need your support to fulfill.
  
  Altar Servers need to be at Church 15 minutes early on the day that they are serving Mass. If an Altar Server knows in advance that he or she cannot make his or her scheduled time it is up to that individual to find a substitute (submit a sub request)
  
  I agree to support my child in this ministry by ensuring his or her prompt arrival to Church (15 minutes prior to the Mass that he or she is scheduled to serve) and responsible attendance at their scheduled Mass, as well as sub requests when necessary.
