For the Deceased:

1. In baptism, N. received the light of Christ.  Scatter the darkness now and lead him/her into the light of Your eternal glory.  Lord in Your mercy: Hear our prayer.

2. Our brother/sister N. ate the body of Christ, the bread of life.  May he/she be raised up with all Your holy ones on the last day.  Lord in Your mercy: Hear our prayer.

3. Our brother/sister N. was nourished at the table of Christ’s eternal sacrifice.  May he/she share forever in heaven the joyful celebration of Your love.  Lord in Your mercy: Hear our prayer.

4. May our brother/sister N. enjoy the welcoming embrace of Our Savior Jesus as he/she crosses the threshold into everlasting life.  Lord in Your mercy: Hear our prayer.

1. Many friends and family members have gone before us and await the kingdom.  Grant them an everlasting home with your Son.  Lord in Your mercy: Hear our prayer.

2. May God gather into His glory those of our family and friends who have departed this life in the hope of the life to come.  Lord in Your mercy: Hear our prayer.

1. Show your mercy to all who have died and gather them into Your eternal Kingdom of peace, especially those whose deaths have been caused by hatred, violence or indifference.  Lord in Your mercy: Hear our prayer.

2. Grant that those who have fallen asleep in the hope of rising again may see God face to face.  Lord in Your mercy: Hear our prayer.

1. May the sadness caused by death be overcome by the presence of the love of God made visible through His Holy Church.  Lord in Your mercy: Hear our prayer.

2. May all of us assembled here to worship in faith be gathered together again in God’s kingdom.  Lord in Your mercy: Hear our prayer.

3. In charity, we pray that You give comfort and consolation to all those who are grieving today as they send their loved ones to their eternal rest.  Lord in Your mercy: Hear our prayer.

4. May those of us who were close to our brother/sister N. know the comfort of the New Life in Christ he/she now shares.  Lord in Your mercy: Hear our prayer.

1. May all who minister to the sick and the dying find willing hearts and hands to help them in their work, and know the reward of their service in God’s name.  Lord in Your mercy: Hear our prayer.

2. Help us all to remember that the power of the Resurrection has transformed our mortality into Eternal Life.  Lord in Your mercy: Hear our prayer.

3. Grant that each of us will one day share with Your saints the joy, light and peace of Your Presence in glory.  Lord in Your mercy: Hear our prayer.

4. Grant that by the holiness of our lives we may make God’s love and mercy known to all who suffer in mind, body or spirit.  Lord in Your mercy: Hear our prayer.

5. Grant that those struggling with addiction may find the strength they need in the love of God and the prayerful support of His People.  Lord in Your mercy: Hear our prayer.
